[Nov. 18] PaintBlast ‘07

The PaintVols are proud to announce that the UT Paintball Club is co-hosting the first annual charity paintball tournament “Paint Blast” with the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. The tourney will benefit The Wesley House of Knoxville. They run after school and summer programs for inner-city kids, some of which have been in abusive situations in the past, most of which are of an extremely low economic status. The PaintVols will be refereeing and running the actual tournament.

This is shaping up to be an excellent event with lots of sponsors and interest. SONIC will be providing lunch.

What: Paint Blast
Where: KPS
When: November 18th

The members of the tournament team will be there. As an added bonus, the team will be showcasing UT paintball in an X-ball lite match to be played at lunch time.

[Dec. 1] UT Paintball Hosts First Big Scenario Game

On December 1st, Paintball at the University of Tennessee will be hosting its first Big Scenario Game at PlayPaintball.

The details are still in development, but mark your calendar!  This is the cheapest you will ever play paintball for an entire day!

Spread the word!

[Oct. 26-28] PaintVols to play World Cup 2007

World Cup

The PaintVols are planning on entering two teams in the World Cup 2007 NCPA Division.  The teams will head down to Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex Friday October 26th, and they will compete on Saturday and Sunday.

Last year, the PaintVols took first place at World Cup 2006.  That win earned them a spot in the 2007 NCPA Nationals.  This year the Vols are looking to do it again.

The PaintVols are looking forward to this event and expect great things to happen.  Please check back for updates on the PaintVols competing in World Cup 2007.

What: X-ball practice for World Cup
Where: C.E.P in Chattanooga, TN
When: Sunday, Sept 30 – Leave @ 9:00 from The Woodlands
